What is a sling pack?

As its name implies, a sling pack is a type of bag made to ‘sling’ onto your shoulder or back. It is similar to a backpack, but because it has only a single wide strap, offers hands-free dexterity with the added benefit of quick accessibility to its contents. Some sling packs feature an ambidextrous design that allows the wearer to sling the pack onto either shoulder.
